秋天的歌
立冬已過，仍然是天天28、29度的日子，秋天快消失了。
今年是我少有地會關心環保的一年，只因不想秋天只留在我的回憶裏。

新騷靈
英倫（正確來說應該是威爾斯，Wales）新女聲Duffy，是從電台收了人錢而狂谷的廣告認識她。
Duffy唱的歸納為 "Neo Soul" ，姑且稱它為「新騷靈」，是混合了jazz、funk、hip hop及house music的soul music 。最初plug的 "Mercy" 和 "Rockferry" ，我不喜歡，反而最新plug的 "Warwick Avenue" 對了口味：
作為debut album， "Rockferry" 確實為Duffy開了好頭，當然芳齡24的她唱功很是紮實、很impressive，不約而同很多人將她和Amy Winehouse比較，因她倆的賣點同樣是複雜的自身背景，和那股懷舊的風塵味道。
此碟的其中一位幕後功臣，原來是Suede的第一任lead guitarist Bernard Butler！Rocker也玩Soul，是我始料不及的！

甜美爵士
我不是很懂得爵士樂（Jazz），然而不認同人們把Norah Jones的音樂標籤成Jazz（包括本港最大的唱片店H記）。其實鍾斯小姐的曲風，只是偏向騷靈（Soul）的流行曲（Pop）而已，可是她的嗓子，仍是我喜歡的一類。
唱爵士的女聲很多，已故的Ella Fitzgerald、仍在世的Laura Fygi、Bossa Nova的鼻祖Astrud Gilberto，都是很普遍的選擇。我的最新（但其實錯過了很多年的）心水，是Stacey Kent。
她唱得很甜很甜，但不是造作得令人「毛管戙」的那種，是罕有的風格，it makes jazz easy to be listened to。
很喜歡她唱的這首《The Trolley Song》：
去年她的大碟《Breakfast on the Morning Tram》很耐聽，當中那首《I Wish I Could Go Travelling Again》已成為我的手機鈴聲了。

毒壞女孩
第一次接觸Amy Winehouse的歌，是去年「被困」在髮廊五小時、被逼聽重播n次她的"Back to Black"大碟，卻不自覺愛上了她的聲音。整張碟最搶耳的，就是這首"You Know I'm No Good"。
來自英格蘭的愛美，樣子不美（被狠批「不男不女」），被冠名「毒后」 （cocaine煙酒不離手，也進出rehab（戒毒／酒所）好幾次) ，更有自殘傾向。而她那把沒修飾、粗糙、蒼涼的聲音，及從YouTube中看她在表演台上那份老練和感染力，難以相信她只有二十四歲。

Dolores O'Riordan
從電台聽到一首歌，歌者是久違了的 Dolores O'Riordan ，原來她剛出了個人 debut album ─ "Are You Listening" ，我頗期待去聽聽。
Dolores 是何許人？單提她的名字可能不太令人有所印象；如果點名說她是 The Cranberries 的前主音歌手，準會有人說：「哦～係佢！」，令香港人認識 Dolores 或 The Cranberries ，多得她 ─ 王菲。
出道於上世紀80年代末的「王靖雯」，聲底是好，但不算特別。90年代初她短期放洋學成回港，改叫原本名字「王菲」，聲音亦來個突變，當中Dolores是功不可沒的。因王小姐當年大熱《夢中人》，正是改編自 The Cranberries 的 "Dreams" ，無論編曲或唱腔，甚至是個人形象，可說是「一脈相承」， Dolores 可說是「菲腔」的啟蒙者之一 *。
